Explore Tampa Bay

Stroll down 7th Avenue and you’ll find just about any type of cuisine and an overwhelming mix of every type of bar and club you could want in this artsy Cuban haven. At night, the area skews younger with a random mix of teenagers, 20-somethings and those who tend to lean more on the sketchy side, but there’s plenty for any type of personality of any age. Learn about the cigar making history at the Ybor City State museum. Check out CentroYbor, a small mix of shops, movie theaters, bars and restaurants within Ybor City on 8th Avenue. Visit cigar shops and get great Greek food at the Acropolis. Other favorites include La Tropicana Café, for great Cuban coffee, the Laughing Cat for Italian or choose from savory and sweet crepes at the La Creperia Café.

Green Iguana

Have a beer at the Green Iguana or eclectic New World Brewery (which despite it’s name isn’t technically a brewery but has a huge selection of beers), or go clubbing at Russian-themed Czar bar and quench your thirst there with an assortment of vodka concoctions. Visit the Saturday Farmer’s Market, held every week, year-round, rain or shine and the ARTWalk, held the first
Saturday of every month. This area is just slightly northeast of downtown.
