Opening Day marks the unofficial start to boating season as Spring brings warmer weather to Seattle. Head to University of Washington’s Montlake Bridge to cheer on the UW Husky crew team and other university and international boats as they race underneath the bridge in competition for the Windermere Cup. Following the races is the Opening Day boat parade with hundreds of boats from sleek yachts to the saltiest Northwest classics taking part. |
