Portland Restaurants

Where to EAT in Portland Oregon

Portland is a “foodie’s” paradise, with local and organic produce readily available and new innovative restaurants cropping up all of the time. I think one just opened its doors as I wrote this. You would have to stay a lifetime to discover all of the culinary secrets hidden here, but we have tried to give our favorite examples to last you a short or long stay. You can find affordable, delicious food in every corner of the city, from "hole-in-the-wall" favorites to fine dining. It seems Portland has tapped into all of the world’s flavors, and offers new unexpected spins devised by creative chefs. That said, dining out is a fairly casual event in the PNW, and most places have an informal dress code. Don’t expect reservations except at a few upscale restaurants.
