TO PORTLAND


Stumptown. Bridgetown. City of Roses. The city of Portland has many nicknames and is affectionately dubbed “P-town” by those who call it home. Lying at the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, with an urban population just shy of 600,000, it is often described as a city that feels more like a town. With a European flare, thriving arts and music scene, and unique vibe of its own, Portland has emerged as a progressive, environmentally conscious, creative, bike-friendly community. Wind your way through funky neighborhoods in any of the cities main five quadrants (yes, only Portland would have five quadrants), and you will likely find a quiet neighborhood-like feeling, friendly laid-back atmosphere, and an interesting spot to hang out for a while.
