When one thinks of Paris, it's hard not to conjure up images of sights like the Tour Eiffel, Musée du Louvre and Cathédrale de Notre-Dame. But there is so much more to experience in Paris—relax in the Jardin du Luxumbourg or along the Quais (Banks) de River Seine; climb to the city heights at the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur; and visit an open air food market or the region's largest antique market. For touring, you can opt for a scenic boat cruise along the river, or, for the more athletic, a bike tour around the city by day or night.

Jardin du Luxumbourg (Luxembourg Gardens)
In the largest public park in downtown Paris, you'll find the Luxembourg Palace, now home to the French Senate. Visit the Medici Fountain, stroll beneath the chestnut trees, and take some time to relax on one of the park's signature green metal chairs. For children, there's a puppet theater, donkey rides, a playground, carousel, and a pond for sailing model boats....
