New York City Hotels

Let’s face it, taking in all of New York’s iconic sights is exhausting. Luckily for you, the city is filled with equally impressive hotels. Unluckily for you, the prices are just like the city’s real estate market: as high as the Empire State Building. Space is also limited, so rooms are smaller than expected. But sleeping in the City That Never Sleeps is a must-do before you die. Why? As mentioned earlier, there’s simply no place like New York!

Most visitors prefer to cram themselves into hotels in the hectic Midtown area as it’s centrally located. But less touristy areas such as Gramercy, Murray Hill and the Upper East Side offer a more authentic feel of New York life.

“Reasonable” rates (well, if you consider $300 reasonable) can be found at hotel chains like Hilton, Sheraton and Hyatt. Roomy enough for a family, there’s always the option to rent an apartment. Through-the-roof prices and luxury on the other hand, can be found at Hotel Plaza Athénée, The Peninsula, Waldorf-Astoria and The St. Regis among others.
