Altus Winery's vineyards are situated in the county of Tupungato, in the province of Mendoza. Nature is bountiful with wine there: the altitude, the weather, the austere soil and the purity of the water, which descends form the Andes, achieve expressive wines with a marked personality.
Altus Winery’s vineyards are high altitude vineyards, situated between 2600 and 4600 feet (1200 and 1500 meters) above sea level. They are located in an area with pronounced thermal amplitude and very slow insolation, which provokes gradual and progressive ripening of the skin of the grape. This translates into complex wines with a lot of personality.
Bodega Altus offers different alternatives for the visitor. Without a doubt, the most interesting one is to enjoy the excellent gastronomy of its restaurant, La Tupiña, framed in a beautiful landscape surrounded by vineyards and quietness. |
