Mar del Plata,
AKA La perla de mar (ocean's pearl) or La feliz (the happy)
The city earns its nickname from the tourists that almost triple the population during the summer months, making it a playground for grown-ups and kids alike.
Now is the time of the year that the Mar del Plata starts getting warmer and it is a real treat to go out for long walks stopping for the traditional coffee (Cabrales if you want to try the local brand) and the delicious pastries.
From a Mondoexplorer Mar del Plata travel guide user:
"As a person that cannot stop traveling from city to city because of work, and being native of Mar del Plata, I think I found in Mondoexplorer travel guide that brings all the relevant information of the city that I needed to know for my tourism trip to town after 4 years of being absent. I started researching and found that in this guide I could find everything to plan my trip with friends, so I chose to take the recommendations, from airport transfer to the hotel and from restaurant to our casino and dancing nights. I am glad that I did because Mar del Plata has changed a lot in a short time and there are many new options while traveling on a vacation trip. I just wish now that there was a Mondoexplorer for every city on the world!". M A C
