Dallas Activities

What to do in Dallas

It’s been said by some locals that it seems like all there is to do in Dallas is eat and drink. And, after having called Dallas home for several years, I couldn’t disagree more with this sentiment. Whether you want to spend an afternoon sailing on White Rock Lake, browsing the U.S.’s largest outdoor farmer’s market, museum-hopping through, again, the country’s largest urban arts district, or watching one of the many major-league sports teams, there’s always, repeat, always something to do in Dallas that will appeal to any cultural or recreational preference. A personal favorite? Thursday nights at the DMA (Dallas Museum of Art) – it’s laidback Dallas at its best.
